Spiders are already considered ruthless and cunning, trapping prey in their webs, but a newly-discovered species in Peru shows how clever they are as well. This tiny arachnid apparently protects itself from predators by building a larger-than-life ‘decoy’ spider in its web and then shaking the web to make the decoy move when a threat approaches
